Welcome to the Liesel Matthews
(Queen of the Screen) website presented by jasonworld.com since 1997. Even though there isn't a lot of new information coming from Ms. Matthews these days, we thought our fans of jasonworld.com and this Liesel Matthews website would appreciate a new look and improved navigation. JWEI has had and remains to have the top ranking Liesel Matthew sites on the web because fans can get everything about Liesel at one place and depend on us being here when they they need us. It amazes us each week as hundreds of emails come in from all over the world showing their support for Liesel even years after her last movie. A Little Princess and Air Force One remain favorites and become favorites as some are still just discovering these movies and Ms. Matthews. Thanks for sticking with us over the years, we hope we've made you proud and that you enjoy the 3rd edition of the Liesel Matthews site from jasonworld.com (Dec. 1, 2003). You can still view parts of our old site, 1998-2003

Well, what you've all been emailing us about for the last several years and longing to see is finally here!! Physical Graffiti is finally here for the public on DVD and VHS. It has been renamed to BLAST (2003). It's been rather quiet and no glitter. No premier, no press that we can find and no interviews or much talk about it. Nevertheless, I know that a lot of you have already purchased it and many will. We'd like to know what you think about it and if you have any pictures please send them to us so we can add to our collection here for all fans to see and enjoy. Support Liesel by buying A Little Princess, Air Force One, and BLAST (2003). By purchasing these in DVDs or VHS will show your support of the young lady. This March, Liesel will be stepping out of her teens and into her 20's in March 2004. It is hard to believe that it has been years since she has showed her face. Hopefully it won't be much longer... In 2002, Liesel Pritzker, then an undergrad at Columbia University, launched a $6 billion lawsuit against her father and 11 older cousins, accusing them of looting her trust funds and those of her brother Matthew. The battle eventually led to the carving up of the family fortune; it was split 11 ways, resulting in 10 more Pritzkers joining the Forbes 400; the most members of any family. Liesel and Matthew are not among the rich-listers, having received a reported $500 million apiece. For more visit Forbes Magazine Online.

PAST NEWS
Any of you who are fans of Liesel know that she has been in the press for the last couple of years, especially the business section. Raised in wealth and still extremely wealthy, she lives in a different world than most ever experience. For this reason and for her privacy we are going to respect her on this site by not drudging through her personal family matters and dealings. We wanted to focus on Liesel; her talent, her beauty,... her. She's human just like anyone who is reading this or who as ever lived. She loves, she fears, she cries, she hates, and she is who she is and what she will become and what she has been. We wish her the best, of course, and hope one day she will take the time to sit down and talk to the fans, her fans, you all, right here at Liesel Matthews from jasonworld.com (located in Memphis, TN)
